Angela Davis Earrings

Angela Davis (born January 26, 1944) is an American political activist, scholar, and author known for her work in civil rights, prison abolition, and Black liberation. A former member of the Black Panther Party and the Communist Party USA, she gained national attention in the 1970s when she was charged in connection with an attempted prison break; she was later acquitted. Davis has since become a leading advocate for prison reform, feminism, and racial justice.
